Hey there, hello!
Whether it’s your first time here or you’ve been following for a few months, welcome! I started this website back in 2019, which now seems a lifetime ago. I started the site as a blog, timed to coincide with an upcoming three-week road trip with our new-to-us 2002 VW Eurovan Weekender campervan. Since that launch nearly five years ago, the site grew, evolved, paused, and is now reborn—with a new look and a slightly expanded focus, one that allows for many curiosities and passions to share the stage.
Since launching this original site, so much has changed, yet so much has remained the same. I’m still Terri, still a lifelong New Englander, still a lover of oceans and waters and blue skies. I’m still in love with capturing life through a keyboard, a pen, or a camera lens—and sometimes even in a sketchbook. I’m still a wanderer, though for much of these past few years (thanks to a global pandemic and some pretty significant health issues for my partner), I’ve wandered more in my head than in my real life. But I’ve never stopped dreaming up ideas and plans. And this site is where many of those thoughts, dreams, and plans find a home.
These days, I realize that I want to make a life (not necessarily a living) through exploration and creativity. These days, I define myself less by a particular job or singular identity and more by how I choose to move about in this world: someone who is led by her passions and curiosity. In the last few years, I’ve snapped thousands of photos, filled a few sketchbooks, written dozens of blog posts, and I’m still nowhere near figuring it all out. In fact, I hope I never do.
Thanks so much for being here. xo
