Five Frames: Cape Ann Angles & Architecture

I’m a sucker for angles, especially architectural ones. You’ll often find me pointing my camera up, framing a particular roofline. Or, I’ll see a window or door and feel the urge to snap an image. This past summer, my best friend (and fellow photographer) and I traveled down to Gloucester, Massachusetts, to take in an incredible Edward Hopper exhibit at the Cape Ann Museum. After the exhibit, we meandered with our cameras (those are the best photo outings!) on the nearby streets and then made our way to revisit a familiar place to us: the iconic red building in Rockport, Mass., known as Motif No. 1.
